As a Realtor®, it is my duty to ensure that my buyers purchase homes that are in good condition. I always advise buyer clients to hire a home inspector to preform inspections. This helps to avoid any nasty surprises in the future with the homes condition. Homes can look perfect on the surface but can conceal a lot of issues. Issues that can be taken care of up front during the purchase process. Qualified inspectors have the training and experience to help buyer clients to make informed decisions. Here are some ways in which a home inspection can help a buyer:

1. Home Inspections can Pay for Themselves in Savings. 

Buyers can ask the sellers to pay for repairs that come up during the home inspection. Thigs like water leaks, safety hazards, appliances, and more!

2. Home Inspections Give Warning Signs.

A home inspector assess major safety concerns, defects, and potential future issues with a home. Ultimately giving a buyer the reassurance whether they want the seller to fix items or ultimately backing out of the deal. 

3. A Home Inspections Helps to Plan Ahead.

A detailed home inspection can tell the buyer the "life expectancy" for things like the roof, appliances and even the furnace. Allowing for them to prepare for the costs in the future. 

4. Helps Buyers Feel Comfortable with their Purchase.

Buying a home is a huge decision for any person so it is imperitive to have it evaluated first. A home inspection is the best way to avoid having buyer's remorse. It will help the buyer to save money and give them peace of mind.
